Voicing her inner world and inspiring others to find their own words. That could well describe the works of Stephanie Calant. After a couple of children’s stories, based on her work with special needs children, her new story Traces talks about finding the traces in her life and invites readers to explore their own. Her stories are little snippets of text in which one can walk around, get lost and find new paths to explore. “Your stories are truly fascinating, Stephanie! I found them not only interesting but deeply engaging. There’s a unique charm and depth in the way you present your ideas, which captures the reader’s attention effortlessly. Keep up the amazing work, your talent shines through!” ― Hanya Yanagihara, American author, best known for her novels The People in the Trees (2013) and A Little Life (2015) “It was a really sweet book. I don’t have children myself but I imagine it could be a useful tool for helping parents to talk to their children about certain issues.” ― James Norbury, British Author and Illustrator, known for The Big Panda and the Tiny Dragon “After reading Stephanie Calant’s Traces I had a feeling of deep reflection and gratitude for life. These three beautiful characters, Elephant, Mouse and Squirrel, share in their journey of awakening. The wisdom conveyed is so powerfully delivered with gentleness, compassion and love. It is a book full of truths and wisdom that allow the reader, young or old, to ponder from where they are on their own personal path in life, and it is with acceptance and allowance to become who they are meant to be without expectation and judgement. Everyone should have this book as a reminder of what is truly important. To be here now and embrace all that comes, as it is the key to the awakening.” ― Tamara Mark, American actress, Broadway dancer and autism advocate featured in the award-winning documentary Beyond.

Sporen. We laten ze na. Bewust. Onbewust. We capteren ze. Bewust. Onbewust.
